Cutbacks at Grace Brothers hit everything from electricity to food service in the Canteen. To raise extra money, the staff decides to hawk Mrs. Slocombe's homemade perfume, a concoction that is allegedly irresistible to either sex. Mr. Humphries volunteers to try it out to see what sex(es) he can attract. They try to get Captain Peacock's permission to sell it by having an actor friend come by and pretend to be attracted to the scent. Permission granted, the staff begins the packaging and labeling of their new product, but unfortunately some perfume on his trousers will probably get Captain Peacock in trouble with his jealous wife.
