Mr. Humphries has _yet_ another talent: he can read your palm and predict the future! This handy skill is revealed after selling a raincoat to a Japanese businessman: Mr. Humphries predicts misfortune for the young man, and the man meets it rapidly...he has an accident with a few buckets! Anyway, Mr. Humphries is doing a little palmistry in the Canteen and soon enough it's Captain Peacock's turn. After Mr. Humphries reveals that Captain Peacock will be ascending a latter, then wearing a new hat, Peacock reveals that Mr. Rumbold told him in confidence that he (Mr. Rumbold) may be promoted to the Board, and Peacock could end up with Mr.Rumbold's old post! Now the staff starts jockeying to see who is going to take over the post of Floorwalker should Captain Peacock be promoted...but little do they know that Mr. Rumbold is meeting with Mr. Grace, who informs him that Mr. Rumbold's promotion is not meant to be. So is Mr. Humphries' prediction about Captain Peacock true, or was he way off? Well, you will just have to watch this one, now won't you?
