First Shown: 14 May 1981
To keep up with the competition, Grace Brothers decides to use closed-circuit advertising. Miss Brahms ends up the spokesperson after the director finds fault with Mr. Rumbold's and Mrs. Slocombe's appearances (the wing-nut and the 110-year old). However, Miss Brahms' voice isn't quite suitable for airing, so the nurse dubs over using her sultrier voice. And its this voice that attracts the attention of a lord, who thinks Miss Brahms' voice REALLY is the sexy voice that he had heard outside of the store. She tries to "dangle her carrot" and insists she already has dinner plans, but he insists on joining them and picking up the tab. Mr. Humphries, Captain Peacock and Mrs. Slocombe accompany Miss Brahms to the restaurant in order to help her pull this one off.
