A bad day gets worse when the transit systems aren't running. Since no one has a car or lives within walking distance, the staff is stranded for the night at Grace Brothers. Mr. Grace allows the staff to set up tents on the floor of the department. Mrs. Slocombe won't share her large tent with Miss Brahms, and she is forced to take Captain Peacock's tent, leaving him sharing a bed with Mr. Rumbold. And Mr. Lucas can't seem to keep his own tent up at all. Of course, no one likes the pajamas they're issued; even in times of crisis the staff is so picky! The staff ends up bonding around a "campfire" swapping tales about the war and singing songs.
