Is. Mrs. Slocombe pregnant? Everyone seems to think so, especially after overhearing about her hoping for the offspring to be "half-and-half." Actually, it's Tiddles that is the mom-to-be, and Mrs. Slocombe isn't about to let her pussy give birth all alone in am empty flat. While she is thinking of ways to smuggle Tiddles in, the staff is trying out a new sales technique: one of them will act as a customer in an attempt to entice real customers into buying more. Miss Brahms, looking a little, ahem, overdone, gives the wrong impression to some female customers, while Mr. Grainger actually succeeds in getting the last pair of gloves away from a customer who wanted them. Mr. Humphries is the success, ringing up over £100 and making a new friend. Mrs. Slocombe, against expressed orders from Captain Peacock, gets the mommy-to-be set up in the fitting room. As Tiddles goes into labor, Mrs. Slocombe tries to be there, but is found out. But no one seems to mind the cute kitties.
