At long last! Mrs. Slocombe is engaged to a Greek musician, and she's going crazy making wedding plans. The staff tries to help out; Mr. Grace offers to let her hold the wedding in the store and Mr. Humphries helps her pick and fit a dress. Even better news: Mrs. Slocombe's rich American uncle is flying in for the wedding and plans to pick up the wedding expenses, plus give the newlyweds a house! The magic day arrives along with some bad news; it seems that her beloved's family, namely his wife, tells him not to get marry and to return to Greece. Now, the wedding is all set up, and Mrs. Slocombe doesn't want to lose face, so the staff comes up with a crazy solution to get her out of this mess, help her keep face, and even get the American uncle to still pick up the tab!
