It's a lot quicker, easier, and less finnicky if you do it yourself. Before I used to make animations using GIFSoup. That was a lot of trouble: it would only use Youtube as source, so if you wanted only a section of the screen or only wanted a few seconds from a film, you'd have to upload it yourself. Nor could you choose the size, the animations would often be too large and take too long to load. Plus: they'd be gone in a month's time.

I'm going to make a film-to-animation tutorial and would love to use some AYBS for it, but I'm out of ideas for now, so if anybody would like to see something animated...

Here's Mr Humphries running for his life again, poor guy.

Wow that's cool. The ones I did I had to do by hand and insert each frame individually. Things have come a long way I'd say.

I made this one to make a tutorial of how to make an animated GIF from Youtube using BB Flashback Express and GIMP.

It was a real toughy: Mr Lucas and Mr Humphries scissor a bit, so by the time I got Mr Humphries' end to match the beginning, mr Lucas made a huge leap. And vice versa: so I ended up with the down the middle solution.

Something I've noticed about these GIFs: when you get to see these funny actions replayed over and over you have a chance to notice the reactions/facial expressions of the people in the background.
