In "The Petrified Pussy" when Peacock was fixing up the room, the FIRST time he knocked a hole in the wall, there was a reflective surface under the wall. It was only there for a fleeting moment, but I have watched it several times on slow motion, and it is definitely there. The question now is, how exactly does a reflective surface get behind a wall?

Having watched in slow motion can you tell me if Peacock is knocking a hole in a Real wall or a Prop wall?

I couldn't really tell what kind of wall it was, but neither would explain why there was a reflective surface behind a wall.

I really didn't see anything. Perhaps someone else will have a look. My monitor is not brand new.

I looked at it a few times, frame by frame, and here is my conclusion:

I think it was a prop wall. I think the plaster was pushed out from the other side. What we are seeing is, what ever it was that pushed it out, as it is hurriedly being pulled out of sight.

Amazing that your eye caught that BasilBJr!!!

That's as good an explanation as any.

In the very first episode, we see an actual black cat play the part of Tiddles. However in series 2, episode 5 Tiddles meows while Mrs Clegghampton is mistreating her cello, and we see a fake pale grey cat in the basket at Mrs Slocombe's feet.

In "The Not So Great Raid", after Mrs. Slocombe blew the dust from the speaking tube into Rumbold's ear, when they went into the pub, Rumbold was unbunging the wrong ear.

The live cat actually looks dark grey IMHO. The faux cat in the cage is definitely a light grey.

And pussy photos are always welcome here

Yeah, it could be dark grey... pale black... My point just was that they're obviously not the same cat

In "The Petrified Pussy" in the museum, somewhere between Nefertiti's Aunt and the Pteradactly's wing, there was a brief view of the set lighting and the bottom tip of a mircophone moving across the screen.
