Default Red Dwarf News

I don't wish to advertize another site.

However, anyone interested in Red Dwarf...

Robert Llewelyn has already hinted at a new one-hour episode to be filmed soon.

There is to be a big anouncement soon on their website.

Keep checking in.

I'll post here once it comes across.

That's definitely one of my top few British shows. Even went over to the UK in 1997 for one of their yearly conventions.

The DVD of RD: Back to Earth will be available in the U.S.A. on October 6th, 2009.

It has been for sale in the U.K. since June. I guess it takes a while for them to translate it into English.

This is one well worth buying. We watched it when it aired and it was superb to say the least. I wont tell you anything about it apart from its brilliant.

I was able to see it too, and it's fantastic It's a definite departure from the usual Red Dwarf though, but it's engrossing.

This is great news. I'm a huge Red Dwarf fan. If the big news is that Doug has finally managed to get funding for the movie, that will be great.

No, the big news a year ago was this Red Dwarf: Back to Earth series.

But, after trying and failing for years to get funding for the movie, they kind of needed to do Back to Eath to show the franchise was still viable. It might lead to increasing chances for funding a movie, but now what movie story could they do?

Can't wait for the new series to be screened. Hope they show it on TV in this part of the world.

I've been watching all the Red Dwarf episodes in order lately...Now, it's almost the 50th of the JFK assassination, so there's been a lot about that on TV lately. Well, I recently saw the Red Dwarf episode with JFK. I didn't plan it that way, it just happened.

Red Dwarf only Britain can make a B rated show with crappy effects and make it good. It's more of the actors and how they play off each other that makes it enjoyable

AMEN BRUVVA! That's why I love the old school Doctor Who shows. Cheesy sets, low budgets, and some of the extras were unbelievably lame. (Same can be said for Chronicles of Narnia when they made it in the late eighties/early nineties.) But I love the cheesiness!

The effects in Chronicles of Narnia are actually pretty good! Aslan was awesome!
