This is true. But it's nice to think of there being more shows with the original cast.

I think in the near future computer generation will allow a lot of our favorite characters to come back. The only thing that would be a problem, are royalties, and copy writes.

The royalties could go to surviving family members

I would think tho that lawsuits would be in the courts all the time, because of the original creators and the new creators of the computer generated images. Who gets the royalties and how are they distributed. They could put a mole or change a feature of a person and say that's someone completely different.

I'd sooner see the families get the money (if they're not being too greedy)

I didn't get to see all the episodes but I enjoyed this show more than the original. And YES I would love to see more episodes with the original cast. They still had the magic that made them jell in the original and in the new setting, the writers had endless plots and conflicts to conjure up.

I keep hoping the local PBS will air it again, but as of now, there is a conflict with the estate of one of the original AYBS writers, so I doubt that will happen for awhile.

Thanks Red. Appreciate the reply, but my slow connection won't allow it.

Using Firefox you can install an extension called YouTube downloader or something like that.

You could download them and watch them offline.

I've tried a couple of "downloaders" but they all fail. I'm not aware of an extension for Firefox. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Yes, I remember back in the fall when PBS announced that AYBS was going off the air permanently. I almost had a nervous breakdown. Miraculously, however, it reappeared about two months later. I guess whatever problem there had been was sorted out. Honestly, they couldn't get away with it. Everyone who watches britcoms loves it. They'd have been attacked or something.

Thumbs up

Have finally found a "Grabber" program that works even with my incredibly slow connection. Thanks Red Shadow, wrm1701, and Gregg for "pushing" me to get to watch these shows.

Have now seen every episode, and every one of them a jewel. Like being with old friends from the department store again.

I still might buy the DVD set!
