At last we are starting to get good Brit productions over here. I think its Downton (Dowton as pronounced on the national news here) that has started the trend again. Sherlock is just well crafted fun with its non empathic lead and his dippy well mannered sidekick Watson. We just saw the last episode of our current season a few weeks ago with Holmes watching Watson mourning Holmes' splattered body. The only obvious issue we have had recently was the overt censorship of Holmes' favourite villainess when she was in various states of undress. We aparently lost well in excess of 10 minutes vs the UK version. But this is the bible belt I suppose.

I finally got to watch the first 2 episodes of Season 2 last night. Did anyone notice that one of the scientists in the Baskerville episode was Clive Mantle? He played Simon Horton, who was a love interest for the Vicar of Dibley.
