Yeah, I like the "petrified pussy" episode too. I like the bit where they're talking about what to do with it, and Mrs Slocombe suggests burying it somewhere near the chapel, with a nice stone over it; and Miss Brahms says that they don't know it's name; and then Mr Humphries says something like that it could be a tourist attraction, "the Tomb of the Unknown Pussy".

Yes I like that part too.

I just watched that episode last night; that's why that scene was fresh in my mind.

I love them all too, but "The Trial" has a scene in it that just cracks me up! It's where Mrs. Slocombe is on the stand and the magistrate (talking about a pheasant) tells them to "hang the bird in the basement" and she faints dead away.

Petrified Pussy is really good. The Darts Game is pretty funny, too. Especially when Slocombe steps up to throw and proves she knows what she's doing...until one of the locals recognises her...

I would like to make the case for the first episode "To the Manor." It was seeing old friends again after several years of watching videos.

I like "The Gun", especially the bit at the end where the policeman is sorting out who sleeps with who and the words "Arab" and "stallion" and "'orse" get tossed about with perfect comic timing.

But my favourite is the return of Mr Slocombe. Mrs Slocombe's initial meltdown is adorable and the final scene where everyone comes to tea and is "happy" still makes me LOL.

I like "The Gun" too. Especially how it goes off once, and what looks like the entire local police force shows up as a result. In my area, that's just another form of produce provided by a working farm. Milk, eggs, corn, gunshots. Par for the course.

Definitely my favorite episode. I like seeing the actor who plays Inspector Grim in The Thin Blue Line playing one of the policemen. He doesn't say anything, but just seeing him makes me smile.
Favorite lines of the episode -
Inspector to Mr Humpries: "Were you turned at Cambridge?"
Mr Humphries: "Not at Cambridge, no."

Mavis puts the cookies in the pudding making a Rumbold head dessert.
She takes charge, and makes sure noone gets supper, cept Humpries who gets to "nibble"
Mr Humpries goes rat digging
and the best scene between Mavis and Humpries peeling the onions

Yes I love this episode too. The teasling scene was great with Mr Moulterd singing the teasling song, and the onion peeling scene with Mavis and Humphries was great.
