Default It's that time of the year again...

1. Daylight Saving Time ends in the US tomorrow (Sunday) at 2:00am. Be sure to set your clocks 1 hour back before you go to sleep unless you're Sonosun. And for a change, most of you will go back to standard time before I do!

UK/Europe: you already came off of DST last week.
Southern hemisphere: you already have (or should be about to) start it.

For the specifics on who comes and goes when, go here: http://www.webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/

2. Do your semi-annual check of your account to ensure that the e-mail address on it is current.

3. Do your semi-annual check of your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Change their batteries; if the unit itself is more than a few years old you may want to consider replacing it with a new one since they do break down. This step could save your life so if you do anything on this list, this better be it!!!

I live in the Mountain Time Zone. Arizona does not participate in Daylight Savings Time. We are so far South that the sun would be setting at 9 p.m. Minki has Pacific Time. When she resets her clock in the Spring she has the same time that I do. In the Fall she gets to be an hour earlier.

Good for you MarkSentMe. All women need to have a yearly Mamogram.

I don't think it's quite the same. Your little buddy or his two chaps don't get smashed between two freezing cold chunks of metal and held for five entire minutes, then repeated. You lads have to strip down, you get a little 'how's your father', cry out 'OH TREVOR!', smoke a cigarette, your doctor promises to call you, and that's it. Believe me, I will trade you ANY DAY.

If having a 13 inch finger jammed up your jaxie then twirled around is your thing then yes, I'll trade you.

My husband had the sweetest anesthesiologist when he had his done! The pre-test wasn't as lovely. When the doctor says,"Be within arm's reach of the toilet." you know it's not going to be good.

MSM, are you talking about your husband having a prostate exam or a colonoscopy? I've never known anesthesiologists to perform prostate exams. If there is an anesthesiologist out there doing prostate exams, you should probably double check to see that he really is a doctor and not someone just wearing a white coat and calling himself an anesthesiologist so he could "examine" people.
