Sypnosis:
Mrs. Slocombe finds herself in court charged with stealing a gypsy cart and speeding in it. Jessica Lovelock offers Captain Peacock a lift to court on her bike but he declines after a demonstration and travels with the others on the back of Moulterd's pig cart. Once in court the staff as character witnesses come forward.

Let's talk about it.

My favorite quote of the eppy:
[Ms. Brahms] He's wearing the whole cow!
- upon seeing Mr. :rumbold01: with the leather motorcycle outfit.

Favorite scene:
When Mavis gave Mr. Humphries a kiss on the cheek at the end of the episode. So cuuuute!

Greg you rock with the wallies! I think we should all put the one up in memory of Mr. Humphries for a while. He will be sadly and sorely missed.

It makes you wonder when he got them doesn't it? They never showed Mr. Rumbold in leathers or any other leathers in AYBS? Then again Mr. Humphries and Mrs. Slocumbe have often showed up in leathers of one sort or other. Leather in England is very cheap compared to here in the States. When I visited I got a very lovely bomber jacked for my hubby for around and about $90 pounds at the time for me the pound was going for $1.57. I made out much better over there for a pound versus our dollar. With the exception of the limited shopping hours I would be extremely happy to move to England and stay there permanently.

I'm taking it as you are using Windows.
Just click on the wallie to open it up to full size. Then "right click" and "save as" and put it where you want to save it on your computer. Then from your computer, open the picture again, right click and choose "Set as desktop background" and there you have it.

I put up a new page that you first pop onto when entering the site. If I'm not mistaken, you can right click on the page and save it as a wallie.

I thought this eppy was great too. It gave us a few more hints of Mrs. Slocombe's life before the store. We find out she had been arrested twice in this series. Once for knocking a traffic warden's hat off and another for hitting a policeman I believe. Apparently she was quite the radical when she was younger. The other offense comes to light in the episode where Captain Peacock finds the pistol in the drawer and Mr. Rumbold calls the police to turn it in and in classic AYBS? style it all gets totally confused.

This really was a great episode. There was so much potential for fun in the courtroom scene. They really could have made an entire episode just out of that. I wish they would also have done scenes where Mrs. Slocumbe was put under arrest. You can easily imagine her in a holding cell with the local riff-raff until Mr. Thorpe came with the bail.

Hmmm... I call dibs on that idea for a fanwork!

The expression on Miss Brahms face when Ms. Littlewood gave her the wink is priceless!

"I've known her for years. Years and years. Years and years and years..."
