I thought I'd created this thread for Derek's show, Ghost Towns.

Here in the States, GTs will return to the Travel Channel on July 28 @ it's new time, 7 PM.

Travel Channel will finish showing the rest of Season One then start Season Two. Derek is currently filming Season Three in the UK. He will be coming to the US to film an episode.

There's also rumors spreading that Danniella and Angus have left GTs. In an interview she stated that was giving up television. I think I read somewhere that she was on EastEnders, but I'm not sure.

It isn't 100% certain if Angus has. Another rumor is that former Hear'say singer Myleene Klass has replaced Danniella.

Loved this show from the get go. I think it should be a lot long than what it is, but I love it !!!!

The rumor is true about Daniella, Myleene Klass HAS replaced her...

Myleene Klass is enjoying working with Derek Acorah while presenting Living TV's Ghost Towns.

The former Hear'say singer has travelled all over the UK with the psychic medium, hunting for spirits for the television series.

"I have literally fallen over in fright. You get this massive rush of adrenaline from doing it," Myleene told the Daily Record. "But it has been great fun, I kind of feel like he's Dr Who and I'm his sidekick."

She added, "I'm doing an Open University course in Planetary Science and Astronomy. I've always been interested in that sort of thing - but my original post-grad was in music.

"I am finding it a struggle fitting in the study, I seem to do most of it in the air when I'm flying to various places."

:lol2: You miss the eppy where they were investigating an old jail. Angus was standing by the door and the spirit grabbed his arse. :lol: He ran and hid behind Derek. :lol2: Derek was amused. You can hear in his voice that he was trying to keep himself from laughing. :lol:

GT never had a fan site. They used to have a shedule for it, but removed.
You won't find the show listed on TTC site, because it's under another name, 'Travel Channel Secrets Blackpool' :?

This comes from the Travel Channel....

It is with sincere apologies that I inform you of our decision to shelve Ghost Towns till 2007. It has long been our intention to find the best possible timeslot for the series and think that Fridays at 11pm would be the best case scenario. Unfortunately, our 11pm strand does not begin till Jan 07.

We don't want to be forced to shift it around anymore then we already have. I hope you understand and come to us in January.

So with this decsion, GT will NOT air July 28 @ 7 PM. :evil: :x

It would appear so, but now that they've shelves GT, the show's name will probably go back to the original, Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns.

Travel Channel is the most confusing telly channel I've ever seen.

Travel Channel gave another post today about the fate of GT.

Apparently, GT was failing in ratings, so they pulled it off the air. That's why they are moving it to 11 PM in 2007. They stated that airing the ill fate show at 7 PM wouldn't help and if it aired after the popular MH at 11 PM the ratings might improve.

So, January 2007 looks like a perment spot for DAsGT.

Now we have to wait till January !!!! Oh well I guess it's better than never. I shouldn't say that because they will change their minds 20 times till then.

Augus has left GT Season Three.

NEW PRESENTER'S FOR : Derek Acorah?s Ghost Towns SERIES 3 are
Rhodri Owen. Rhodri is a Regular presenter for ITV?s Wish You Were Here and reporter for BBC 1?s Hard Cash and 4X4 not to mention a number of other projects he has done including the
Voice over for Radio 5 Live Sport. He will be a great asset to the team along side Myleene Klass , Former Her'Say singer, and our very much loved Derek Acorah.

Oh, pooh, I loved Augus. He was funny! :(

What?s your scariest moment so far?

On the last show of the series I had a very weird experience-to the point were I had to call an ambulance for somebody. That?s all I am going to say! Derek was really calm because he was in control on the situation, but the paramedics couldn?t understand it. It was really freaky

When Derek is in a Trance, do you ever wish that you weren?t there?

Oh, my God, Yeah! There was one time that he channelled a guy who hated women, and when I said something to him, the spirit told me to shut up! Gary, my fianc?, thinks it?s the funniest thing ever that even the dead wants me to shut up.

What do you make of Derek?

I absolutely love him. We drive in the back of the car, and I stare at him with my jaw on the floor sometimes, because he?s very naughty. A lot of people don?t get that side of Derek. He is very mischeievouse, but then as soon as we go into someone?s house, he?s completely different. He is so professional.

Would you ever consider letting him contact a spirit on your behalf?

Well, after we?d finished filming the series, I gave him a hug and he said? I?ve just seen something. ?So we sat down, and he told me some things that I need to let go of. They were so personal, I could'nt even speak. It?s made me feel really close to him, actually, because I know that he has literally looked into my soul.

Since filming the show, are you aware of any ghostly presences?

I walk around thinking ?I know I?m not alone?, which is actually really nice. Derek has told me I?ve got a guardian angel. I dont know much about mine, but Derek has been able to look at some people and go: ?Your guardian angel is right by your shoulder.? I know how ridiculous this must all seem to someone who hasn?t experienced it, but I?ve see things with my own eyes.

I was told on one board not to worry about MH no longer being on because Ghost Towns was going to be on Tuesdays now but I have yet to see anything about Ghost Towns being on ???

I seen Ghost Towns 3-1 and it was OK. Not once does Derek mention "Sam" and our old friend from Most Haunted Live Richard Jones is on with Derek now as the historian.

Well, American fans of GT will not get to see the rest of the show. The Travel Channel, who said the GT would start airing again in January after MH, has apparently pulled the series from the airwaves. There is no mention of GT airing and they won't answer any questions about GT on the MH message board.

I contacted the Travel Channel about GT, here's my answer....

Thank you for contacting Discovery Networks. We appreciate your interest in
our programming. Unfortunately, we do not have any follow-up information
regarding Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns. We regret that we are unable to give
you any further specific information.

So, GT is gone from American airwaves.

Richard Jones from Most Haunted is now doing Ghost Towns with Derek.
