I know many of the members here, including me, have been fortunate enough to receive AYBS? actors and actresses autographs, but before you can receive them, you need an address to request them. Could you explain a little more about International Reply Coupons, please? Does that mean if you don't enclose one you won't get an autographed picture back? I've never done this before.

When they receive an International Reply Coupon, they redeem it for postage to the States.

I don't know if not sending one wouldn't result in a reply, but it's better to be safe than sorry. :D

I got Wendy's autograh. I accidently sent to letters into her. I did not know how much the postage was and she sent me two of her self autographed and one with the cast of EE which most of them signed. One of the solos had herself and Shirley Brahms the second on it.

Me too...me too! Our actors are NOT getting any younger so it's a good idea to get these fan letters and polite requests for autographs in the mail! My own personal experience:

I wrote "love and thanks" fan letters to Mollie and to Wendy. I didn't include any postage coupons. I received replies back within about 1 month. Wendy wrote me personally on her own "froggie stationery" as well as sending a post card with her and her doggies. She loves FROGS. Send her frogs or a card with a frog and invite her to post here with us. Mollie sent me a lovely postcard with her "good wishes." Both are framed and face me as I sit here at my home office desk. I cherish both! :dance01: I MUST write to Frank, Nicholas and John and Trevor again. I did before and got no replies. Maybe I needed better addresses or to send the postage. I would think these stars appreciate the postage, but at their ages, operate "Old School" and do no expect postage. :wink:

Just thought I'd tell you all that postage Overseas has been raised to $.80 cents and International Reply Coupons are now $1.75.

It used to be $.60 and $1.25.

Nicholas Smith wrote me back today!

He sent a very nice little autographed picture, and wrote that he's glad the AYBS show still has us laughing. He also seemed to laugh at an embarassing situation....although I addressed the letter to him, and wrote about him, somehow I included how I enjoyed his portrayal of "Miss Brahms"!! Oops!! I must've lost track midway through the letter of who I was writing too! But, he didn't seem to mind.....

I will try and scan this photo sometime this week to show anyone who wants to see.

Thanks to everyone who has given the agents addresses to us, especially Miss Jackson on her sight. This is a special treat and something I will enjoy for a very long time.

Nice Greg! I got very emotional when I got mine, too. Especially since she wrote to me about how concerned she was for us Americans after 911. That's a special note I'll cherish always. I wished her well when I heard of her battle with breast cancer.

Yes, I remember Greg mentioning that awhile back. The only thing I wonder is why they did away with it? I never used them and was successful anyway for most of them.

I agree but the IRC gave the person on the other end something to compensate for the mailing back to you. I don't get what we are suppose to do now ??
Actually I wonder if they still honor them because I have 3 here that I've never used yet.
