I can't get enough of this very short lived observational comedy series. Common can be funny. Ricky Tomlinson is, as usual, wonderful as the crude, telly watching, snacking, belching bone idle layabout Jim Royle, who often as not, feels it necessary to announce to all present when he's off for a crap.
So much like home it's scary. Yes, I'm from common roots also.

EDIT: Here's a typical Jim Royle line: (Accused of adjusting his genitals in front of everyone): "I'm not fiddling with meself! I paid a quid for these underpants and I've got 50 pence worth stuck up me arse."
