Not fond of bridges and heights. And I hate....HATE moths! I had a friend who was once afraid of tin foil. Big burley guy, too! And we shouldn't make fun of other's fears...but....TIN FOIL!!??
P.S. I know it didn't stem from any childhood trauma so it's OK to giggle at that one....

Heights are no problem for me. I don't care how high it is I'll go up. Just don't ask me to climb down. I was once in the nosebleed section at a basketball game and needed to spend a penny at half time. I got to the facilities after the end of the game.

My fear of heights is actually fear of falling....altitude per se is no problem...but
put me where I think I might have a chance of falling and look out.

Sharp knives
A dull knife is something to be far more afraid of. A dull knife can slip and you can really injure yourself. If you cut yourself with a sharp knife, the cut will heal much faster. :chef:

Okay, but in this nightmare I had, an old man was chasing me with a sharp knife which is how I developed the fear. But I will add dull knives to the list.

Roaches. It's not a real phobia/fear, but I dislike the critters with a passion...and yes, if I see one I will "eek!" and jump a bit.

I'm the same way with centipedes or millipedes. :o
(Though I'm honestly now sure if I've ever seen a millipede before.)

I suffer from mild Agoraphobia and I'm not too keen on confined spaces... go figure....

I'm claustrophobic. All I have to do is imagine being stuck halfway down a chimney to give me the crazies.
Big, hairy tarantula type spiders. Also scorpions. We have both around here.
There's something about that big brown stinger protruding from the poison sac at the end of the curved, segmented tail that puts me off.
I'm not afraid of them, but reptiles and amphibians give me the shudders. Something about the cold blood and the nasty things like salmonella that are associated with them bother me.

I'm not sure what I'm afraid of. I don't mind heights, in fact I love them. I like snakes and spiders. I'm not the fondest of water. I do fear drowning.
