Anyone been to the farm/house or surrounding area? I know the exteriors were done at Chavenage House in Tetbury and I live near there and have never been! Not even sure if it's open to the public. If it is I deserve a slap!

Just checked - it's open May to September! Roll on May!! I wonder if they will have a maypole??!!

I bet on the guided tour they don't even mention GAF!

Only problem being...NO SCANNER!!!

I would kill for a WALMART!!

Actually Walmart own our ASDA stores but they are NOTHING like a Walmart at all!

Actually (again) no panic as I have access to a digital camera which I forgot about so all is not lost!

My surname is Scott so I guess I have some Scottish blood somewhere many generations down the line! I'd love to see Loch Ness. I have been to Edinburgh - it was skanky.

That's very true. A long time ago I had a link from a person who had
vistited there and she even had a pic of the "Millstone Manor" sign plus
other pictures used for AYBSA. I think the page it now 404.

I was there 5/4/08 and had the tour of Chavenage House but didn't recognize any of the rooms as the ones that were in the show. Also toured the chapel and saw the out buildings and grounds behind the house that they mentioned was used in G&F.

I am very sure that I read that the Manor was used for exterior shots only and that the indoor scenes were filmed in a studio.
From Wikipedia:
All external filming for the series was undertaken in and around Tetbury (http://www.minki.net/aybsforum/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2 Fwiki%2FTetbury) in Gloucestershire (http://www.minki.net/aybsforum/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2 Fwiki%2FGloucestershire). Primary filming was at Chavenage House (http://www.minki.net/aybsforum/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2 Fwiki%2FChavenage_House), just outside of Tetbury
