Hey folks,
Found this show about 15 years ago. I have been catching episodes on my DVR lately. I am hooked again. I just ordered the complete series on DVD last week. I should be getting it here shortly and can't wait to dive in. I will be starting from the beginning and running it all the way through.
How about the movie? Is the acting and production delivered just like the TV series?

Welcome aboard, Electricmarquis! We're glad you're here!
As for The Movie, it has its ups and downs. It's great to see the characters in a new situation, but many of the jokes/scenes are repeated from the tv series. There's no audience to laugh, so it has an odd feel to it. It took me a few viewings to get used to it, but I think it's worth watching.

Opps, sorry i posted in the wrong place. Thanks for the move.
I found a few sample clips from the movie. Its kinda different with no laugh track. Its filmed with different cameras and style. I have found it online for about $7 bucks. Don't think I can go wrong there.

Don't worry about posting in the wrong place. It's a mistake that all of make from time to time. ;)
You can never go wrong supporting the cause and especially if it's only 7 bucks. The movie wasn't bad ... it was the "good" cast minus Mr. Mash and it's great anytime you can see the staff outside of the store. I watch it at least 3 times a year.

Is your Pilot episode in color or B&W?

I think she asked about color or black and white because The Pilot has been colorized. :)

And I'm still wondering when the heck they are going to release it commercially.

Me too, Greg. I would pre-order it from Amazon so quickly.

Is it in color on the separate DVD's? I know they sell the whole thing in two separate DVD sets. I just looked at the separate season 1 on Amazon. It doesn't even list the Pilot as one of the episodes.

In the original release of the AYBS? DVD's Volume 1 lists the Pilot as being included and it really is there. The separate DVD's appear to be the same as the ones in the two sets and the one set of all the DVD's. The color episode was aired on BBC and is sometimes found on YouTube. It is Not on any DVD's that I am aware of.

Then how did StevoCummisk on You Tube get to upload it in color?? I was thinking maybe it was colorized in a newer DVD set...I've got the 1999 edition...

Stevo recorded it off the telly, converted it and popped it up on Youtube for others to see it. It was never on any DVD as of yet.
