I have resolved to not make any resolutions. Then I can't break them.

*lol* There is a grain of wisdom in there.
What I'd like to accomplish in 2006:
* Learn (relearn?) Spanish--for work as well as because I'm now addicted to a Spanish soap opera on Telefutura. Damn it, I can only understand one word in 50 but I can tell you everything that is going on.
* Learn how to run--I've always been a walker but I'd like to move up.
* Drink less wine, drink more milk...ha, not while Little Mink is teething! But I can dream
* Write more--I've been neglecting my poetry

To spend more time off the computer is one of them

I totally agree....I have kept my one NYR for the last 30 years because I
resolve to make no resolutions.
NYRs set you up for failure. Who needs that?

Ha, I actually forget mine by the time January is halfway over, so it's not like it really matters to me. It gives me a good boost of energy to start the New Year off though. :D

One NYR that I've kept for years is not biting my nails.

Eat less. Drink less. Move my rear end more. Spend less time on the computer and more on the dreadmill  .

I have resolved to not make any resolutions. Then I can't break them.
The only problem there is that by making the resolution not to make any resolutions, you've already broken that resolution right?

I think now we should have people post how they are doing on their
resolutions...I always only have 1 and its going well...
I resolve to make no resolutions(other than my resolve that is).

I'm sticking to my "Staying off the internet" resolution. The trick is to commit to something that is practical and not go overboard like...
"I resolve to lose 30 pounds in 2 weeks !!"
