Hello all,
. I am new to the board. I have watched Are you being served on and off since my highschool days in 92/93. At first I didn't know what to think when I first heard Mrs Solclum mention her cat? I thought I was hearing things but I have been a fan ever since. I loved everyone on the show except for Spooner and Old Mr Grace. Plus Mr Humphries always made you question but he was oh so comical as the man, the diva, the standout. But Miss Solcum reminded me and my friend of ourselves and other's we knew "Hair was a character in itsself. This show other than Benny Hill and Absolutely Fabulous were my intro to British comedy. but being served has been more consistent far as viewing on a regular basis despite those stinking pledge drives.
