I recently saw a couple of episodes on BBC America. What a great show! Steve Coogan is wickedly funny as Alan Partridge. He personifies everything that's wrong with most talk show / radio show hosts, namely that they are smug, overbearing and downright clueless. He plays the part SO well!

I purchased both of the "I'm Alan Partridge" series on DVD through Ebay and will have them shortly. I can't wait to see these! If anyone has a chance to view any of the episodes that are shown occasionally on BBC America, along with the spoof TV talk show series "Knowing You Knowing Me" (which was filmed in the mid-90's), check it out. I almost fell off my couch laughing so hard.

I love this show! I try to catch it on BBC America whenever I can! And you're absolutely right, he plays the part of a smug yet utterly clueless talk show host.

Another british gem.
