When you "friend" someone, what can they see about you? I have 2 requests and am not sure what to answer. :?

When you friend someone, it lists the connection the two of you have on your profiles.

As far as what friends can see, you can customize your profile and albums to allow some (or all) of it to be visible to friends only. By default, everything is visible to everyone...so if you want to make some/all of it private, you can do that.

Also, you can also limit visitor messages to friends only.

Friends can't see in your PM box. That will always be for your eyes only.

The friends feature is here just for fun (and some privacy control) and it's optional. You don't have to use it if you don't want to :)

I just haven't replied because I don't know what to say yet. I don't know anyone here and am trying to decide what's safe. :?
Now I have 5 requests! Aaah! I'm drowning in a sea of friend requests, and more are coming every day, so don't be surprised if my answer is a while in coming.
