Imagine ALL the cast members AND writers are alive and well and in town for a panel discussion. :D What are the most perplexing questions you would like answers to? Things only they could tell us.
In light of another thread, I'd ask Wendy why she wasn't in blackface in "Roots."

I would have to ask if the men were really naked in "Strong Stuff This Insurance"?
At one point as they are shuffling offstage dragging the curtain behind, it slips a bit and it almost looks like Mr. Goldberg moons the camera, so I'm not sure if they were really in the buff, or wearing those flesh colored body stockings over their sensitive areas
Enquiring minds want to know LOL!

I'm willing to bet the house that they were wearing those "flesh coloured" briefs that you've always seen Benny Hill parading around in.
I'd ask the writers (not that I would get an honest answer) why the Humphries character went from gay to "I don't know".

I would ask them which were their top 10 shows and in order for each.
And which shows that they enjoyed making the most and why.
I would question them about a movie or doing another season of shows.
I would ask why Mike Berry didn't change {with the writers} his role of Bert Spooner from a Lucas Clone.

:D And Most of All...I Would ENJOY MEETING and TALKING to THEM... :D

I would like to ask them what sort of things they did after shooting an episode. (Ways of celebrating, etc.)

I'd like to think I'd formulate some really deep and thought provoking
questions, but would probably just end up sitting in the back listening to
everyone elses.....like I'm doing here. But I would wonder about tons of things.

I'd like to ask Goddard why he never got a single line on the show. As a result, he never made the credits.

He was just there to look pretty. And to hold up YMG. Speaking roles cost money.

And he magically disappeared with Mr.Humphries somewhere in "New Look". Never figured out where they went, lol.

I'd ask Mollie Sugden what her favorite hair color was!

That's an excellent one Amy!
I would ask the group which dance number was their favourite.
(I bet it was one from Roots!)

I thought I'd ask if Mr. Humphries was definitely gay but to be honest, part of me likes the ambiguity, the never knowing for sure :) So I'd ask what their favorite display unit(s) are instead.
I'd also ask them that if they had the chance to script the final episode of AYBS, final as in "we know this will be the last AYBS ever so lets tie up all the loose ends and give them a nice send off", what would they like to see in it.

I've wondered that one myself.

That's a good one.

I'd like to ask Nicholas Smith how harsh it was accepting all the "bald jokes".
 He must have been a really good sport about it!
I'd be interested to ask the writers and actors if they felt maybe they might have overdone the song and dance numbers....

How about asking the actors if they took any home movies or personal pictures of the show and/or actors. That would make a interesting book !!!!!

I see there is a few questions (unusual right??) about Mr. Humphries. I saw in an interview with Jeremy Lloyd that he was supposed to be a momma's boy, pansy etc. not gay. Although it looks like John Inman was given some leeway with this.
I would ask them what happened to the set? (as if they'd know or care about that)
I would also ask what was it like for them to be doing the movie without a studio audience? The one thing I thought was weird about the movie - no audience laughing.

Nah, Dazz, he didn't lose a hair on his head worrying about it.....
IS THAT A BALD JOKE? Dang right.

Forgive me if it's been mentioned but I would love to ask the cast how many takes they would get for each scene as the older UK sitcoms like AYBS seemed to flow much more like a live show due to the stuttering and flubbing of lines (which I LOVE!). The answer may be documented somewhere in one of the books but I can't recall.

I would like to ask the cast if they had any fun parties together outside of the show. (ie: Christmas Parties, etc.)

I think it all went pretty smoothly and they just left in whatever flubs they made because it was too costly to redo it. I mean....they actually LEFT IN a scene with Spooner with his FLY WIDE OPEN! Friends and Neighbors....
