Over the weekend, in the Uk, was a programme called "Heroes of Comedy:Arthur Haynes. They showed clips from his TV series from the 60s, a few years before AYBS. A couple of sketches featured Wendy Richard. They corpsed in one sketch and couldn't stop laughing, she looked so cute giggling away.

I still would have loved to have seen her in A Hard Day's Night. She supposedly had a role with Paul for his "getaway bit". Alas all that is left are a couple of pictures. :(

Alfie Bass (Mr. Goldberg). Ronnie Brody (Signor Balli "Anything You Can Do" and the one guy in the cinema in "The Night Club") and Jermey Lloyd (creator of AYBS?) were also in Help ! :yes:

Lloyd was also in A Hard Day's Night. He was the goofy looking chap dancing with Ringo. :lol:

edit: and also it was rumored that John and Paul offered to write a song for Mike Berry to sing back when they met up during their Cavern days. Apparently Berry was a "star" at this point and kind of laughed the idea off. Bet he's kicking himself now. Poor Bert
