I just found this out not too long ago that Chris Barrie, the guy who played Rimmer on Red Dwarf, also was the sportscaster in the imaginary motorcycle race fantasy that Capt. Peacock had when he was going to hitch a ride with Miss Lovelock to the court house. I can't remember the eppy name..:(

Apparently Chris Barrie has done a lot of voice work. Just thought it was a cool little tidbit.

I found out the reverse way. I saw he was listed on IMDB as a narrator for the "Trial" episode of Grace & Favour, but I had to watch it several times before I figured out he was that imaginary motorcycle race announcer.

He was also Gordon Brittas of "The Brittas Empire" He made Rumbold look almost competant. Wouldn't that've been an interesting crossover.
