Hmmm! Well we can hope from that message that the site is going to be updated. They don't actually indicate that's why the site has been taken offline. I am wondering when that message went up and just how many days it's been unavailable so far. We can all keep an eye out for it here: http://www.johninman.co.uk/offline.htm Maybe someone has been reading our messages of good will to our beloved Mr. Humphries and is listening to our pleas to keep us up to date. If this is the case, whomever you are, we thank you! :D

I know besides our emails on this site I have had personal discussions with his representatives as well.

Really...well that's very interesting. You can certainly add a bit more information to this thread then. What do they say about John's health, and his website?

None of the replys I received were very promising as far as the website goes. I was very surprised that the site was taken down. I simply stated, as a fan how it can be very frustrating that the site is so outdated. I was told that at this time in his life he is enjoying not being "on" like he was before for so many years. He was feeling fine, there were no health scares/issues. I can't wait to see what they do with the site. :P

The fact that they ask us to check back or "call again" leads me to think they will be bringing it back. It would be very rude to keep fans checking a site that's now going to be totally defunct. But....who knows? We can only have faith that the person(s) running the site have John's class and seemingly nice manners. I look forward to whatever happens with the site because at least we'll know "one way or the other" ! :D

It's surely been more than "a few days" since the site was taken offline. I think it may not be back at all....seeing how neglected it was in the first place.

I just found this thread and I have the real reason why the site was "neglected" if you will.
I contacted the people that worked there when John was still alive in 2001 and I was told that it was hard to get anything done with the site because of John's busy schedule. They never could really sit down and discuss the specifics with him for the site as a result.
Hope that helps!
