I think ive seen it the episode that slocombe walks out of the fitting room, and humphries and lucas (or spooner) sing the theme from "the stripper". Cant remember what one that it....

I don't ever remember any eppy of AYBS? that Mollie wore that dress.

The "stripper" theme was played in "Front Page Story" when she came out wearing the green corset.

The dress she wore in "It Pays to Advertise" is a gold sequined with wings (and a chair hanging off the arse end of it)

Wow. The dress is familiar yet I can't quite place it. I think the red is distracting. I wonder if the red was added later. Sorry; I don't know which episode this is from.

I just looked at the catalog of items being auctioned. They don't say that Mollie actually wore the dress in an AYBS episode. Perhaps they mention AYBS because that's the show Mollie is most associated with....did you all see the floral shirt worn by John Inman? Boy, I can think of a few summer outings coming up in which I could wear that!

It's close blakey but I don't think it's the same dress. The one from The Clock has print design all over and the auctioned dress only has print at the top, the rest is gold with little to no print on it.
