I have absolutely NO idea where to put this.. my brain is on strike tonight.. anyway, I took the kids to see Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were Rabbit tonight.. I noticed that a "Nicholas Smith" was one of the voices.. I thought to myself that it couldn't be the same one.. .. so when I got home I looked it up.. and it is him.. .. he does the voice of the Vicar.. just thought I would share..

Not only do we hear him, but he has a small cameo as well. I posted a question to him about this movie and got a response:

"I saw you in "Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" and it was a really funny film. :) How did you ever get the role since it's really different from your other TV appearances?"-Marlies

"Well, I suppose it was the voice they needed after all. It was great fun and the claymation was terrific. I am not sure a Vicar was me exactly, but much fun none the less."-Nicholas Smith

Very true. You could tell it was him. Also another bit of Trivia...especially if you like the Inspector Lynley Mysteries films. His daughter Catherine Russell took over from Lesley Vickerage to play Helen Lynley for a series. Russell was a much better Helen in my opinion.

You haven't seen that series? It is series 5. I don't know if it has aired in the states yet. His daughter is very good.

I saw the earlier/older series, but got more involved with "Midsomer Murders" series so I forgot all about it.

Midsomer. I love Midsomer. I like it because it is so light hearted and it is not your typical murder mystery.

He is.

I liked Daniel Casey as Troy - although Troy in the books is married and stuff like that. I also think his new DS is very good.
