I've recently tried Pimm's - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pimm's - for the first time. Very nice mixed with lemonade, at the end of a hot Florida summer day. (Is there any other kind?) I think it'll become a permanent addition to my drinks cabinet.

Hey Larsen - Where do you get Pimm's in the states. I'd like to try it myself.

I used to work in a Liqour Store that stocked Pimm's No 1. I have seen it in other retail stores as well. I have never tried it. :(

It's always Pimm's o'clock somewhere. :)
I found it at my local liquor store, about a mile from my place. The "Total Wine" chain (stores in AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, NJ, NC, SC, and VA) also carries it.
Their latest commercial is pretty neat, with a bonus for Monty Python and AYBS? fans: Carol Cleveland appears in it, as "Orange," the elegant redhead leaving the tanning salon.

I've found a UK online shop that stocks not only Pimm's #1, but the rarer Pimm's #3 (based on brandy) and the rarer-still Pimm's #6 (based on vodka). www.thedrinkshop.com/products/productlist.php?text=Pimms (http://www.thedrinkshop.com/products/productlist.php?text=Pimms)
I wonder if I should take my chances with an online order and shipment to the USA, or if I should wait till my trip to the UK in November and pick it up there?

That's what did it for me, too. So the ad did what it was supposed to - or as they'd say over there, "did what it says on the tin."

I know I'm new here but just thought I would mention the actual above quote is:
"It does exactly what it says on the tin"
