For those who use AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) or Yahoo Messenger (Y!), now you can automatically let other forum members know when you're online.
All you need to do is to include your AIM or Y! screen name in your forum profile, and make sure that your privacy settings for your messenger program are set so that you appear online. (Note: if your AIM screen name has any spaces in it, enter the screen name without any spaces).
Then whenever you log into either AIM or Y!, a little icon will appear here in your forum profile and in each one of your posts, letting members know you're using your messenger program. If someone wants to send you a message, all they need to do is click on the icon and that will get them started.
