Blue Plaque Unveiling
Sunday 5th July 2009


We are pleased to announce that, on Sunday 5th July 2009, we will be unveiling a blue plaque in memory of the late and much-loved Wendy Richard MBE.

The ceremony will take place at Wendy's former home, the Shepherds Tavern, 50 Hertford Street, London W.1. at 12 noon. Following the unveiling, we are holding a lunch to celebrate Wendy's life at the Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London W.1. which will be attended by a large number of Wendy's showbusiness colleagues and friends.

Thanks Erik for the announcement. We'll have to remember to look for pictures taken at the event. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to attend?

I actually thought about going, not just for the event itself, but also to see my friend Sue, who's very active in the HF.

However, I've already got some vacation time booked for later that very same week, and it's unlikely I'd be able to get any more - especially around the July 4th weekend.

I may well have to settle for having a drink at the Shepherds Tavern, in Wendy's honor, next time I'm in London.
