Before I vote, I think you've made a mistake Greg! 'The Agent' is listed as both episode 43 and 47. Don't you mean 'The Apartment' for epi 43? :?

Thank you Melchey and all that gave me kudo's.
Took me two weeks to get this ready for you guys so I hope you like it. 69 folders to go through with no less than 3,300 pictures in each folder. I wanted to get the best picture of a "whole hair shot" that I could. In the end there were just some that I could get the picture as good as I wanted to.

You are absolutley right Sienna. I flubbed the titles. I'll fix it. Thanks for the heads up.

You can really tell the work you put in on this! Excellent work Wib! I forsee a wallie of just all the different hair shots.
Seeing all the hair colors in order, you can really see where they occasionally had problems changing from one color to the next.

:curse5:Aaargh! I can't believe some of these votes! :smack: It's a good thing these "vote offs" are secret ballots. This is important stuff here people! :b**ch:
It's not like this vote is for something trivial like president or something. We're talking about the honor of Mrs. Slocumbe's hair's!

Actually this one isn't secret, just click the numbers and you'll see who voted for what. I stand by mine though.

You're welcome, just thought I'd mention it! I must go reconsider all the colours (I LOVE the page with all the pictures. It's as much Mrs Slocombe as anyone can handle!), I compiled a shortlist of 12 least favourite colours last night but now of course I have to pick 5!

Wow, was that hard to narrow down to only 5! As much as we love Mrs. Slocombe's ever changing hair color, there were some pretty nasty 'dos in that collection!

It's pretty amazing how so many of us thought the same thing in terms of choices...

Thank you CJ. I was thinking of a wallie later on.
You can tell that in Series 5 was the start of the wigs. "Mrs. Slocombe Expects" seems like the first a wig was worn (besides hair like the sticky out braids in "German Week")

I thought I had read the wigs started on season 2.

No because the show really didn't catch on till later on. Mollie made the remark that she was tired of rinsing her hair because it was killing it.
Look at the pictures and you can see still in Series 4 that it was her real hair. In series 5 starting with "Mrs. Slocombe Expects" you can tell the difference. The colors are more brilliant and out there and where as in the earlier eppys you can see actual hair because of the rinse not taking all over. The wigs have it that everything is the same colour.
I love looking at the pictures all together. Towards the end of the run of the show the colours got way out.

Yes I suppose you're right!
It's funny how I can't recall a single instance where a character commented on her hair color changing constantly. The closest I think we get is from Miss Brahms... "It's only on account she just had her hair double-laquered..."

Yes, everybody just seemed to accept that as a part of her... they'd been working with her for so long that they'd gotten used to her changing colours! :D

It was also the way I used to describe the show to people.
"You know that Britcom on PBS that has the gay guy and the lady with multicoloured hair."
When you say that most people say "Yeah, I've seen that."

My goodness, this one is hard!
I don't know when she switched to the wigs--she said it was at the point where her hair "had all of these multicolored ends".
