1. Daylight Saving Time begins in the US tomorrow (Sunday) at 2:00am. Be sure to set your clocks ahead 1 hour before you go to sleep...unless you live in Arizona, Hawaii, or part of Indiana.

UK/Europe: you go DST at the end of the month.
Southern hemisphere: you should come off of DST.
For the specifics, go here: http://www.webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/

2. This is a good chance to check that your e-mail address on your account is current. You'd be surprised how many accounts I had come up in the last several weeks as having bouncing addresses.

You may think it's not a problem now because you can still log in...but what happens when you forget your password? :)

3. This is also a good time to test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and change their batteries out. In fact, check the actual unit itself: if it's more than a few years old, you may want to consider replacing it with a new one since they do break down. If you do anything on this list, this better be it!!!

I'm behind you on this bruvva. I live in central Indiana and we didn't start falling and springing until about 3 years ago. Now it is always dark when I get up and ready for work - Anything that makes going to work more difficult is in my book of BLAH - Bull...(that I) Loathe And Hate. :curse5:

It gets you up earlier to be able to plant and plow and use all of the available Daylight. Supposedly now there is energy savings in there too. :D

I hate these time changes too  They used to scare me a lot when I was a kid, don't ask me why... now they just annoy me. Maybe it's to make people aware of how many clocks they have...

 Thank God that most my clocks change themselves these days.

We only have one of those and it didn't change itself until five PM. :?

Better late than never. I think my clocks actually changed at 2AM except the one on stove. I got freaked out when I went for coffee and I thought I lost an hour somewhere.

The thing I hate about the time change is that it takes me a week to adjust, and I'm usually a zombie the first two days.

I've been a zombie since 1995 - you get use to it.

Minki I forgot to tell you something way back when you first posted about DST. All of Arizona doesn't stand pat at the changes. The Navajo Nation goes with the changes.

When I was in high school I loved it because the people always forgot to change the clocks and move them forward so it always made the last days seem to go faster because I always knew it was an hour later than those clocks said it was
