The sweetest moment I can recall is at the end of "Mrs. Slocombe Expects" when the staff are holding the kittens.

Those are all very touching moments!
One of my favourite sweet ones is in "The Father Christmas Affair" when the little boy chooses Mr.Grainger as the ideal Father Christmas. The way Mr.Grainger responds and the way the audience cheer just make it a smiling moment!

Seems everyone wants Miss Brahms to get the break she deserves, but
never happens in AYBS.
She's always the pretty, quirky junior to Mrs. Slocombe.
I think the character assasination in Conduct Unbecoming is one of the
meanest scenes. So, when Mr.
Humphries is leaving its pretty touching. And his return and then talking to
his teddy is pretty touching as well.

When Mr. H. reconciles with his Mum "Well I told you he'd let you down..." Mothers don't always know best. And then when Grainger was about to get the boot, he thanks Mr. Harman for being supportive of him through the years. That's sweet.

Yes, but remember Humphries' comment at the end: "I didn't think people talked like that any more!"

Another touching moment occurred when Mr. Grainger apologized for being so grumpy in "Goodbye Mr. Grainger." He even purchased gifts for the entire staff!

In forward Mr. Grainger, there are a couple.
1) when he says "I'm not being sent to Coventry am I? Oh, I am"
2) when Miss Brahms is genuinely concerned about something happening
to Mr. Grainger and none of the staff would have said "I'm sorry".
3) when Mrs. Slocombe is lamenting tromping on Mr. Graingers hat....
(she is not quite as believable as Miss Brahms).
