I think I looked for something similar a while back and couldn't find anything.

I had a look on you tube but couldn't see anything. Will keep searching.
Funny I was sorting through some photos the other day and I came across two of John which was taken when he was in a department store here in Aberdeen many years ago.

Just to think that now they are both together in that great big board room in the sky. :(

First I'm gonna clarify that I think it's very very very sad that she died, but what you said there cracked me up  Boardroom :D

We must be able to find a giggle to help with the sadness.

I seem to remember John Inman saying Wendy and he frequented a few pubs on a semi-regular basis. I wonder where the first picture was taken.

I mentioned elswhere that I had a couple of pics of John when he was here in Aberdeen in the late 80's. Thought you might like to see them. He was doing make up demonstrations.

He was exactly the same in real life as he was in the show. A diamond :p

I don't think he was exactly the same, though. I read an article about his passing and one of his friends said he was a bit calmer than Mr Humphries. But I read that he was a really funny guy in real life too

Oh, you where there??
Yeah, I'm slow
Did you talk to him??
Peanut

Unfortunately I did not get to speak to him. The place was so busy and AYBS was as popular as ever and it seemed the whole city had come out to see him. I was also young and star struck. I wouldn't have known what to say. Was lucky to get photo's

I agree. Thanks for sharing those pictures! He looked so young! So many of the pictures we have of John off the set are from the last 10 years. I haven't seen many from his younger years.

Thanks guys. I just remember being in awe of this man. He did not act like a tv star at all. He was lovely. A true gent. I treasure these photos a lot.
