A UK visitor to the VVV wants to know if any of the G&F outtakes and bloopers that have aired on Australian TV have survived. Any info on this?
Thanks,
MM

Yes, they are out there, but not commercially available-yet.

I have some contacts I could inquire to about this if you wish. I wish I could help, but until I feel that it is worth my time from many people -especially the veterans here- instead of a select few I would be happy as usual to help out.
Besides, it would also increase the chances of the success of it being a reality when they see how much interest there is for this sort of thing and the more the merrier! :)
I can't help but wonder of many of them are already present in the shows themselves... There is a thread here that contains many of them isn't there?
Thanks,
Marlies

He says he would love to see them. Do you want me to PM his e-mail address to you?

They used to show "Mis-Takes" (a collection of BBC cockups) on several TV stations. If that's it, the good news is that it was once released from BBC Video, and the bad news is that the title is no longer released. Check on eBay and at vintage video sellers such as Chart Busters to see if they may have it: as it's a UK visitor, if they have a PAL VCR they may want to check it out--I don't know if he's referring to that, it's a long shot. If that's not what he's looking for, then I hope he can find it--good luck and keep us posted!

Hi,
His email is not necessary. I assume he frequents this forum and can keep up to date on developments in this thread right?
Since I'm sure many people out there would be interested in the G&F bloopers in one form or another, I can create another petition like I did for the Australian AYBS series that you guys as well as many other AYBS fans can "sign". It would give more weight to the inquiry and might start the ball rolling hopefully for a re-release maybe.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Marlies

I found this on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-BBC-VIDEO-MIS-TAKES-PAL-VHS-PRE-CERT-INTEREST_W0QQitemZ130265849552QQcmdZViewItemQQptZU K_DVD_Film_TV_Videos?hash=item130265849552, but the date is 1985, which is a few years early to have G&F.

Interesting to note that Mis-Takes is also a song by a UK music group "The Charlatans".
Sorry-needless info I know, but I thought it was funny.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "Chart Busters" a music oriented site? :?

It's FindThatFilm from Chartbusters Video--that's the URL you go to. Go fig.
Their contact page is here: http://www.chart-busters.co.uk/pages/contact.php
Perhaps they may know about any more blooper tapes.
The date is 1985, which is a few years early to have G&F.
Clearly I need more coffee in the mornings--I missed that :) But there's probably some AYBS ones in that tape though.

Ooops! Looked at the American site-that's what happened. Keep forgetting that there's a UK version of everything or there seems to be...
