It would be very interesting to hear about Mr.Grainger and Mr.Lucas' departures. Personally, if I had the time, I would write a fanfiction about Mr.Spooner's singing success! :mrgreen:

A long time ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth :D some of us would meet online and do AYBS roleplaying. It was a lot of fun...once I get the chat situation sorted out (no, I haven't forgotten about it Dazzlestar! :P ) we should set up a date for some of us to meet and try it.

Get writing them then !!!! :lol: I love to read Fan Fiction !! You just touched on 4 of the subjects that I feel should have been futher explored on the show. These will probably be short fan fics. The story regarding Mr. Lucas' departure will border on sappy/upsetting because the only original idea I have for it is that Mr. Lucas and Miss Brahms get married. The other idea I had for it would be a Frank Burns-type storyline. For the Mr. Grainger story, I will try to keep it very simple. As for Mr. Mash's departure and Mr. Harman's arrival, let's just say that Mash's flippant behavior was taken in with mixed emotions from Peacock, Rumbold and Young Mr. Grace.

I thought about writing one for fun regarding the hiring of Mr. Spooner. I had this wacky idea in mind regarding him being interviewed by the staff and failing the interview miserably; however he was willing to work for the lowest wages which was just fine with Young Mr. Grace, plus, his uncle worked for a local fish and chip shop which gave the staff free food for a special event (undetermined) in exchange for hiring Mr. Spooner.

Yes, it's nutty, but fitting...... :mrgreen:

I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the chat room also minki so I could talk to everyone. I know you've been very busy, though, so I've been trying to be patient! :mrgreen:

Yeah...the problem is configuring it with my webhost. I'm working on it, though if I can't figure it out by the end of the month, I'll open up shop on Yahoo Groups for us to chat.

There's a few story lines that I wouldn't mind writing and on livejournal there's a community called fanfic100 in which is a challenge for writing 100 fanfic's and I put in a claim for The Men of Are you Being Served?

I've already written a few fanfic's and I'm just waiting for my claim to be accepted.

So as in the "Frank Burns" character do you mean that Lucas and Brahms are sweethearts, breakup and then Brahms finds another man to marry and breaks Lucas's heart to the point that he has to leave Grace Brothers ??? I love it !!!! I'm misting up already..... :cry:
