Woooooooooooohoooooooooooooo!!! Another one to look forward to. Although now I have the dilemma of buying it as soon as it comes out, or waiting until September and buying it for myself as a birthday present.

I will be pre-ordering mine from the ABC Shop perhaps a month in advance. Also, series 8 has eight episodes.

Greg, please tell me, out of the eight episodes, how many are Sue in?

She should be in most if not all of them.

They have released the cover image for the DVD here in Australia and it has Captain Peacock with a little smirk on his face.

I have noticed a little pattern with the characters on the covers:

Series 1: Mr Humphries
Series 2: Mrs Slocombe
Series 3: Captain Peacock
Series 4: Mr Lucas
Series 5: Miss Brahms
Series 6: Mr Humphries again
Series 7: Mrs Slocombe again
Series 8: Captain Peacock again

So, might it be like this?
Series 9: Mr Lucas
Series 10: Miss Brahms

^^ Most likely, but remember, Lucas left at the end of season 7, so it would go (I would assume) like this...

Series 8: Captain Peacock
Series 9: Mr. Spooner
Series 10: Miss Brahms

Here in the States, Spooner never got his own cover. Lucas had one as did Grainger, YMG, Rumbold and Mrs. Humphries. Harman even got a cover (why I have NO idead), Slocombe had 2 as did Humphies, Peacock and Brahms.
