In " Sweet Smell of Success" Miss Brahms uses the expression "...sit on yer todd." to Mr. Spooner.

Any ideas on the rhyming slang?

I had another cockney slang website, but it had no reference to that one!
Thanks so much for the link!
I dare say there are likely several more that Ms. Brahms, Mr. Mash, and Mr. Harmon slipped in that I never caught, as even the subtitles often failed to do.
Sure adds a fresh angle on the episodes!:)

"Big Girl's Blouse" as in " don't be such a big girl's blouse" (i.e. wimp)...
That one always bothered me.....
