In " Sweet Smell of Success" Miss Brahms uses the expression "...sit on yer todd." to Mr. Spooner.
Any ideas on the rhyming slang?:shrug:

I dare say there are likely several more that Ms. Brahms, Mr. Mash, and Mr. Harmon slipped in that I never caught, as even the subtitles often failed to do.
Sure adds a fresh angle on the episodes!:)

"Big Girl's Blouse" as in " don't be such a big girl's blouse" (i.e. wimp)...
