Which one scene leaves you rolling on the floor laughing so hard you can't catch your breath?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++
When Captain Peacock pulled the horse's reins and got Mr. Lucas in the privates when the tail went up
that'll make yer taters boil over!
I always seem to laugh when, in the Christmas special - The Father Christmas Affair, Wendy Richard begins laughing whilst speaking, and the reactions of the people around her, not actually a moment in the script, but still funny altogether.

Usually any scene where Mr. Humphries comes in wearing a costume does it for me.
Captain Peacock's Carnation

The one that gets me every time is the expression on Mollie's face as she says, "Will that be all Captain Peacock" after he has just recited his doggerel about the Barmaid from Sale. :slochead1:

The dinner event scene in Takeover was hysterical. When the first time I saw that eppy, I nearly had tears in my eyes for laughing so hard at it.

Ohhh. . .there are so many funny scenes. The one that cracks me up is the one where they are learning to dance. Mr Humphries has asked a lady friend of his to give them a lesson. Mrs Slocum and Miss Brahms are in tutus and the men are wearing leotards.

One of the scenes that used to make me really laugh at night was the Happy Brithday singing practice in "Fifty Years On", escpecially when Humphries and Lucas come back and Lucas says "We don't think we can get the top 'er."

who can pick just one?!
in Fire practice, when humphries looks up the chute after slocombe is stuck there - the way he laughs!
similar, when they were taking the medical, naked and he peered around the barrier, screamed and ran off
"where did you get these injections, miss brahams?" - "in me bum!"
when peacock was out on the ledge and replied to his wife "what do you think i'm doing out here, silly bitch!"
in the Apartment, "mr humphries!?" "LUCAS!" - "thanks heavens for that!" (and goes back to sleep)
in slocombes 50th birthday, where peacock puts his arm around harmon (who gives a worried look), and asks him for a contribution for her birthday. harmon's response is "i'm not allowed on the floor during opening hours" (and he walks away)
the whole "dick" dialogue about Lucas's real name, especially when humphries keeps mentioning the name
granger's gastric "oh damn!" responses
the whole 'boil on the bum' conversation in the Hero. first, when miss brahams says in a straight tone "i didnt notice any boil on his thumb".. then when slocombe whispers it again, she starts laughing. also in that part, when they're in the canteen cracking subtle jokes about it. especially when Lucas starts bouncing up and down to show how to test the rubber ring peacock was sitting on.
and a last favourite, i think it was in the Apartment, when peacock talks about his throat condition with the high sped up voice. then humphries comes accusing him of taking the piss!

Another one would have to from "It Pays to Advetise" where:
Brahms: Wouldn't it be easier if he shouted up her skirt?
Slocombe: No one is shouting up my skirt saying they recognise the face.
Another one for me would be in The Appartment when Mr. Humphries goes to pat Mrs. Slocombes cat, but it hisses, causing Mrs. Slocombe to call out...
"Mr. Humphries! Leave My Pussy Alone!"
It is a hilarious line, but Mr. Lucas' and Captain Peacock's facial expressions make me laugh so much harder.

Probably my single funniest moment was in "Fifty Years On" when Rumbold was trying to teach the staff just how to sing 'Happy Birthday'. Put feeling on the 'you'. LOL
Rumbold: Happy Birthday to YOU. Happy Birthday to YOU. Happy Birthday DEAR err err. And then the grand finale, Happy Birthday to YOU.
Nicholas Smith's delivery was perfect and really makes me laugh when I hear him say all that!

Can I have two?
Just after Miss Brahms talks herself into Mrs Slocombe's bed, She asks Mr Humphries, "Are you disappointed or relieved?
He: "I'm neither one way or the other."
She: "I'm afraid that's the way you're still going to be in the morning."
That subtle double entendre is my favourite!:emotlol:

Last night, The Hold Up was on...... I can't believe that the two guys who played the crooks didn't get awards (especially the big tall one) for not busting out laughing at Mr. Humphries as Italian Tony.
I almost split a gut last night when Italian Tony grabs the big guy by his lapels and pulls him down to face him (you can see the big guy is ready to laugh his head off) and then Tony pulls out that fan and playfully slaps him across the face with it........"You no speaka to my papa lika that. Otherwise I spread you across the wall lika jam." LOL

'Lower your voice'
(Deep) 'Are you sure were safe here?!'
I love the whole 'Happy Birthday practice' in fifty years on too. I think my favourite part is -
Capt. Peacock - 'So what a we going to sing now, Er, Er Er, Er Er Er, or Er Er Er Er?'
Mr Rumbold 'Er...'
Mr Lucas '- 'That'll do for me!'

I can't decide on just one. My faves are (not necessarily in order):
* discussion of Captain Peacock's boil in The Hero;
* the radio sound effects in It Pays to Advertise;
* the whole "Ballet of the Toys" from Happy Returns (my grandmother enjoyed that bit also, especially Mr. Lucas "flashing" with his black plastic mac);
* and the discussion of retirement from Shedding the Load:
:slochead1:: Well, I think those who are closest to retirement should leave now, instead of just dragging it out.
:humphries01:: Don't forget your handbag, Mrs. Slocombe.
:slochead1:: Right, FAIRY CAKE!

Mrs. Slocombe in The Clock HA nobody plays a drunk like our Mollie! :)
I love when Mollie plays drunk! They were som of her best moments - German Week with the slapstick comedy was one of the best.
I know Miss Brahms doesn't get many funny lines, but the few she got I found incredibly funny, my favourite being (from The Appartment)...
"I've had four proposals between here and the bus stop and they wasn't marriage"

So, here are the faves I remember:
The German dance (especially when Mr. Grainger gets knocked down)
"Little Boy Blue's" costume malfunction
From "The Punch & Judy Affair"
Capt. Peacock: Why don't you steal the sausages?
Mr. Humphries: You're not going to say it like THAT are you?

Mr. Mash knocks something down and Capt. Peacock says something like "look what Mr. Mash did".
More to come... :)

Melchett,
Shedding the Load is one of the eppys where Captain Peacock makes that jesture. It's while they are casting their secret ballots of who should go. Capt. Peacock chose Miss Brahms for no compliance at the Christmas party.. and she said she wondered who wrote that and gave him a knowing look.. he then gives the "look" I'm referring to as he tries to act like it wasn't him. :lol:

I think my favorite joke from this scene is when Mr. Rumbold tells his secretary that he has no right to ask her questions, that she doesn't have to answer them, and that no one will hold her answers against her. Young Mr. Grace then looks at his secretary and says, "Hardly seems it worth her coming..." That cracks me up every time.

Funny lines that I really laugh out loud at is
From Fire Practise:Mrs Slocombe: "Any minute now they're gonna get their heads chopped of"
From Oh, what a tangled web: Mrs Humphries: "I didn't think people talked like this anymore"
From Fire Practise: Mr Humphries: "Where did they say they came from?"(Best line ever in the show, I think :D) and "I'm not even a believer!"
Almost the whole episode of The Holdup
And alot of lines from Young Mr Grace that I can't remember now :lol:
Oh, and of course the whole afterwork talk in 50 Years On.
And I actually laugh every time Mr Humphries asnwers the phone with that dep voice "Men's wear" Every time, even in season 10. *Low voice* "Men's wear. *high voice* Oh, hello mother!" :D
And one that that didn't get many laughs, but I think it's hysterical. I don't remember the episode but Mrs Slocombe is telling them about when she and Mrs Axelby(I'm a bad fan, I can't remember her name now!) went and iceskated because if they fell "somebody was bound to pick us up" :lol:
