elevator and there was one person with you from Grace Brother's staff or crew who would you prefer it to be and why (optional in case you can't come up with a "clean" reason)?
Reminds me of the last person on an island thing, but I just "Grace Brothered" it. :)

Grace Brothers staff: any one of Miss Thorpe, Miss Brahms, Jenny Kenna (the decoy secretary in the "This is Your Department" episode), Vivienne Johnson, or Miss Belfridge. As Mr. Humphries once said, "I'm easy either way."
As for customers, my choice would've been the lovely Hilary Pritchard (1942-1996: RIP). :(

I like how you have staff and customers itemized. I never thought about that. Adds a neat spin. If you could pick *one* staff member could you do that? ;)

Mr Humphries. I'm sure he'd be able to keep my mind off how claustrophobic I was feeling being stuck in the lift, with interesting tales about the things that go on in his life.

Mr. Mash would also be helpful concerning unions. It would become a case of "everything you wanted to know about unions, but were afraid to ask."

That's true! He had the ability to do that in shows and in real life.

Mr Humphries for me. He'd be so interesting that I might forget we're stuck in the lift :)
I feel like I know them like family, so I would pick a customer instead, and that would be the lady who returned the pantyhose to Humphries and bought the fur coat he modeled, played by Jan Holden. Her glowing smile and sparkling eyes and shapely leg even affected Humphries.
