Considering most people in Britain are sick to death of Only Fools and Horses, it'd be interesting to know exactly who voted....BBC shedulers per chance?

I, too, have not seen any from the bottom 50. Further, are we the only ones who likes Chef?? Our local PBS ran that series one year and I thoroghly loved it! BTW, I see that a DVD set of seasons 1-3 of Chef is set for a late August 2005 release. Can't wait for my copy to arrive.

I liked Chef and I think I'll grab that when it comes out.
Only Fools and Horses... isn't that an older show ?????

My PBS station is stingy when it comes to airing Britcoms. We have AYBS?, KUA, Next of Kin (which gets right up my nose. I can't stand that girl), As Time Goes By and one other I can't think of at the mo.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sitcom/winner.shtml My personal favorites are...AYBS: The Trevor Bannister Years, Only Fools and Horses, Keeping Up Appearances, Dad's Army, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python and The Benny Hill Show. My favorite British non-comedy is the 1963-89 version of Doctor Who.

I REALLY do not like Only Fools & Horses - should be banned from over exposure. The older seasons are okay but the last ones were the most unfunniest things I have ever seen.

I remember our PBS station running the first eppys of OFAH and I liked it. Problably like AYBS? though... as the years wore on, the jokes got stale.

Really? how could you get sick of Del Boy? I love it. It could have been worse. They could have had "two pints of lager and a packet of crisps" or "the smoking room" as number one.

AYBS? ranking several spots behind KUA and only one spot ahead of the boring "To the Manor Born"? Sheesh. :?

I used to tape it for a guy in Germany, and when I watched the tape before sending it to him, it used to just bore me to death. I guess I wasn't the only one to dislike the show, since it's no longer on here.

No Mr. Bean or Benny Hill?? maybe they're not considered britcoms????

Used to watch Dr. in the House(79th) in college .....had almost forgotten about it. I think it may have been my first Britcom. I remember thinking it was really funny, but can't remember much about the show now.

Butterflies (33rd) was ok but not all that funny..... I liked it though.

KUA is definitely behind AYBS? even though its very funny (at times)

Red Dwarf is another one I would place after AYBS?

I thought Coupling(54th) was more "interesting" than many of the ones before it. One word "JEFF".

Allo, Allo is probably my second favorite after AYBS?.

Mmmm. I got the DVD's of the first season and will pass on any others. I remembered it from years ago and wanted to see it again..more for nostalgia than anything else. It's not very funny at all.
