View Full Version : Help me recall!!!!
I do not have the complete run of AYBS? yet. Most of my episode's are taped from PBS......I commented in another thread about me being a cheap skinflint,I have yet to talk myself in to spending the $150 for the complete series. But on to the point......
I know someone here can help me recall an episode. :? I remember only 2 things about the episode.First,it was one of the funnier one's I have seen.Second,Mr. Humphries was out on the ledge in a storm wearing a rain coat.So who knows the episode with so little to go on?
Thanks
Brad

Mr. H. was out on the ledge in "Sit Out" --where the staff fight with OMG when he threatens to move their depts. to the Bargain Basement and cut their wages by 10%. That mean old coot! But I don't remember it raining in any "ledge" scenes on AYBS? And about the DVD's....ebay can give you some amazing bargains. They've got a 1-6 set now bidding at $5.99! Worth a bid!!

I remember Humphries as Tids recalls in "Sit Out" but he was swinging from rope, not actually on the ledge. Again with the rope in "The Hold Up" as Italian Tony but there was never any rainor raincoat involved.

it was the very first episode with miss belfridge....the lifts weren't working so mr. h. got his friend the window washer to give him a ride up to mr. rumbold's office window. i think that ends up being the eppy with mrs. slocombe's homemade perfume. can't remember the name of it.

But it wasn't raining or on a ledge per say. It was on a window washer's scaffolding. Oh God now I'm really lost.... :lol2:

[color=blue]But it wasn't raining or on a ledge per se. :
You're right. No rain happened on any of those "ledge" or "scaffolding" scenes. Not even when Mrs. Slocombe was out there in "Goodbye Mrs. Slocombe." "Sorry mate! But yah shouldn't've opened the windah!!" And apart from "A Personal Problem" where they actually were walking about on the ledge, I think scaffolding/rope was used in all those other scenes?? :?

Yep, APP is the only show to feature a "ledge" scene.
You've done very well our Tiddles !!!
