Although the youngest in the department, (and tall) he didn't even have the guts to run and retreive Mrs. Slocombe's handbag from the counter, before the robbers got back. And allowed Miss Brahms to go instead.

Another character like Lucas where Mrs Slocombe could give a glare to when spoken to in a cheeky manner.
