The last surviving member of the Rat Pack Joey Bishop has died. I remember when I was a kid Joey had a talk show for awhile up against Johnny Carson. I always liked Joey better than Johnny. He was funny and did great interviews. He was also cool when he appeared in movies.
Bet the Rat Pack are all raising a little hell up in heaven now that they are all together again!

I'll drink to that. Joey Bishop was a very funny man. I will miss him.

Boy they are dropping like flies this week aren't they!? It's such a shame that the big stars have suffered not only illness but also a degree of oblivion. Joey, funny man, playing the BIG room again.

How odd. I was just reading about him on wikipedia last week wondering how he was doing these days.
Sad news.
He was a member of The Rat Pack, but the least known of the members. I think I read that he had a falling out with Frank Sinatra and hadn't spoken to him for years.
