This is an excellent series http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/myfamily/

The teenage daughter is lovely and the eldest son it so wacky and funny.

Has this been shown on PBS?

Finally, somebody else who has seen this show!

I love this show, but have yet to see it on PBS. So far, I have only seen it on YTV and BBC. I absolutely love the show and look forward to seeing it every night. I think the father (Ben) and mother (Susan) are hilarious. The oldest son is just plain stupid to the point where he makes you laugh. The daughter kind of gets on my nerves, but she can be funny too. The younger son is kind of cute and he's my favourite. All in all, I really love this show and am glad it airs on YTV!

I've only seen this on BBC America. I agree, Dazzlestar. It's quite funny, but sometimes the entire family gets on my nerves.

I've seen every episode of My Family on YTV and I thought it was a great show....but I started to enjoy it less the more Siobhan Hayes started to appear. She is probably fine in other things (I've only seen her as the grocery cashier in Iris with Judi Dench) but she is terrible as Abi. Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wanamaker are, as always, superb!

I'm quite convinced that the Susan Harper character is based on my mother though.

The show is cute. I'm not so addicted that I have to watch it whenever it's on, but if I run across it and I don't have anything else to watch I'll tune in.

Mr.M, you and I share the same thought on one thing for sure: we both don't like the character of Abi. I'm sure the actress is a wonderful person in real life, but the character is awful in my opinion! She and Roger brought the show down as well. Also in the later series Nick and Janey pretty much disappeared, and Michael just got plain annoying.

I saw this for the first time this morning on BBCAmerica. Here, I've had BBCA for months now and never realized it till this morning.
The father was on AB FAB as Eddie's boyfriend, Pete in the eppy Schmoozin.
Trevor Peacock (Jim Trott on VOD) was an old man the family took in.
It was funny, what I've seen of it.
