I know his rather critical opions of the Royals lead to his name being changed by some to "Nigel DUMPSTER". But we must not speak ill of the dead. ;)
British journalist and former gossip columnist Nigel Dempster has died at the age of 65 after a long illness.
During his career, Mr Dempster was credited with breaking a number of
big royal stories including the news of Prince Andrew's engagement to
Sarah Ferguson.
He also wrote a number of books, mostly behind-closed-doors accounts
of the Royal Family, including one on the life of the Queen's sister
Princess Margaret.
