Does anyone else enjoy a cup of tea? I try to have a cup of tea every day. I prefer Tetley's as it's mentioned in AYBS?,but I am out at the moment and left with something else.

I'm awfully lazy- I use QT, powdered tea with dried milk already in it.

I still add more milk though-I like a nice, weak, cool cuppa.

I love tea...herbal teas though. For some reason I can't stomach regular black tea well. And green tea makes me sick as a dog

I love a good cup of hot tea...Usually it is Twinings or herbal...

Or a nice cold glass of ice tea...

I am about to try Twinnings as it's sold in my favorite store and I am tired of searching for Tetley's.

I magnanamously allow my wife to vote how she sees fit. Translated that means she's going to vote as she sees fit. :D

You tell 'em, Brad.http://www.minki.net/forum/thumbup.gif I love Dr. Pepper myself. My fridge is loaded with the stuff right now. Along with Pepsi, and A&W Root Beer.

As for tea, I drink Tetley's British Blend, hot and cold. We also drink Green Tea, Strawberry Tea, and Peach Tea. Yesterday, I picked a tea called Tension Tamer. It's suppose to relieve your stress and ease tension so I thought I'd better get it a try.

I like instant Lipton's caffeine free ice tea. I use to buy Nestea Free Ice Tea (Instant also) but it is too hard to find. The only time I drink hot tea is when I have a cold. Then it is chamomile and mint. I never, ever, drink tea that is already prepared and sold in cans and cartons :!: YUCK :!: :!: :!:

I love a cup of tea in the afternoon, when I begin to feel a bit sleepy, but there's no time for a nap. I usually drink English Breakfast at that time. Iced tea is also a favorite, especially in the summer. I have an herb garden, and I love to put a sprig of spearmint into my iced tea.

One of my friends hosted an afternoon tea for some little girls in the neighborhood. It was in February, and coincided with Valentine's day. She issued invitations to a "Valentine Tea with the Queen of Hearts." The children dressed to the 9s, brought straw hats which they decorated with art materials provided by the hostess, and enjoyed Queen of Heart tarts, a Choco-Cherry Cheshire Cat cake, "Eat Me" tea cakes, Dilly Deviled Egg Dip with Cucumber Caterpillars, and "Drink Me" tea. She gave the children a copy of Alice in Wonderland, telling them it was the best book ever written for children, and that she hoped they would read it from cover to cover.

The kids had a great time, and it was certainly a change from their usual get-togethers.

Great way to get kids reading, too! :D

I love tea.

I've been buying it online lately at this site.

They have their own brand of tea which is very good price and tasty, but they also have twinings, typhoo and pg tips as well as some other goodies.

My English wife loves tea. I can't tell you how many cups she drinks during a day. For Christmas I bought her a tea brewing machine. Its like a Mr. Coffee.

She drinks it the traditional way, with milk and sugar. She considers iced tea to be vile.

She doesn't have to have a British brand of tea. American tea suits her fine.

Dear Captain Peacock...wrote about his wife's tea...

Your wife doesn't live in Texas...And in the Summer...We have 8-10 months of Summer... April to September can be very rough...

And she must have fluids to replace what the mosquitos drink.

But I drink hot tea also...But then maybe in the early morning or late night in the summer... :o

I know about Texas heat. I have spent some time there during the summer. terrible!

When I was in England I asked about iced tea and they looked at me like a space alien...lol

She has found she likes the Lipton's raspberry sweetened tea, but just plain brewed iced tea she couldn't stand it.

We found a local store here yesterday that sells proper English tea for a somewhat low price (PG tips for $2.50 80 tea bags) she was tickled. Now if we could find English sausages and gammon bacon...lol

Tea! I love tea! Pickwick Lemon is good, or Earl Grey. Delightful. But never try to make Senseo Tea if the machine makes mostly coffee; it's awful! (Or are that my gran's mugs I taste?) I like to have loads of sugar in my tea, but my mother doesn't like it if I do that. Sigh.

They make some little mesh devices that you can use on your Senseo machine that accept regular coffee and save you money.

Just FYI---

Twinings just recently discontinued some of their black teas; so if there's one you prefer better stock up.....

and also-they have new packaging and guess what else?

Five less teabags per box----- and for a higher price!

there's nothing like distracting us with a fancy new box.

AREN'T WE LUCKY.....

Dear DaftBoy

That's bad news. :(

They will price themselves right out of Texas.

Wally-World is the main place to find-em now.

Lady Grey, English Breakfast, and the Variety pack.

And if the sales slow down at W.W. they won't deal with you. :(

Ah tea, the greatest discovery since.....tea actually. I drink so much tea it's probably not normal but it's sort of built into my daily routine. I only use loose tea, not bags though.
